Round 2 Junior and Cadet Success
Our rescheduled Round 2 competition split over two Friday evenings was very well attended by Junior and Drivers with record attendance. Thank you to all parents, drivers, teams and volunteers for making the event great for all members.
Our Seniors event was less well attended with the date clashing with other events.
Overall the feedback on the event format was positive and we will look at running another similar event later in the year.
Canteen Update
Our new Canteen is progressing well. This will provide a permanent place for the Club Canteen that is easily accessible to the pit area and outgrid.
I’d like to express the Club and Members thanks to Riga Constructions and Rob Zamprogno for donating the 20’ Container for conversion into the Canteen.
Wagga & District Kart Racing Club
It’s great to have Wagga & District Kart Racing Club join Karting Australia NSW. The Club has a recently resurfaced track and is less than five hours from Sydney.
Your opportunity to win a Black Plate
Later in the year we will be hosting the Karting Australia NSW closed State Title where class winners will be awarded a Black Plate.
The Black Plate event will likely be combined with our Greater Sydney Cup event held on Saturday/Sunday 10th – 11th August.
Enter for your chance to win a new Kosmic, Lando Norris, Redspeed, Gillard or Carlos Sainz chassis!
All our Round 3 entrants who are members of Greater Sydney Kart Club will be entered into the draw to win a new OTK chassis. Get your entries into Round 3 which is opening shortly for another ticket in the draw.
At the end of the 2024 season one lucky club member will be given an OTK chassis of their choice via raffle.
If you like the idea of winning a Kosmic, Lando Norris, Redspeed or even the brand new Carlos Sainz CS55 kart then all you have to do is join the club, or be a current paid member, and race with us. Every time you enter a round of the 2024 Club Championship you will get a ticket in the draw to win this amazing OTK kart.
The draw will happen at the end of the 2024 Club Championship year and the rolling chassis will be for the winners race class only.

Your opportunity to be rewarded for lap consistency
Up for grabs is $50 for every driver who gets a ‘Triple’! If you can achieve three identical lap times in consecutive order during an official GSKC race in 2024, as measured on Speed Hive, the Club will reward your consistency with $50. So let’s get after chasing a ‘Triple’!
